Collection container for pneumatic demands.
In the case of pneumatic conveying of fibrous material, it is already known to use collecting containers in which the material is guided past a sieve by air pressure, through which the dust contained in the material is drawn off with the conveying air, while the conveyed material remains in front of the sieve surface . The present invention now relates to very sensitive ones
Good z. B. in cigarette tobacco to detach the material adhering to the sieve without mechanical devices such as brushes, scrapers or the like being used for this purpose. For this purpose, the material adhering to the sieve is detached by continuously partially covering the sieve.
The drawings represent several exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention, u. Between Fig. 1 is a vertical section through a collecting container for the material, shown schematically, Fig. 2 is a section through Fig. 1 in the direction of the line from, Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of the invention in connection with a rotating sieve in cross section, also shown schematically, FIG. 4 is a vertical section through FIG. 3, FIG. 5 is a section through a further embodiment of the invention, FIG. 6 is a cross section through FIG.
In the drawing, 1 is the body of the collecting container, which is provided with a sieve or filter 2 on the inside. The material to be conveyed enters the container with the compressed air or suction air through the pipe 3. The material is retained by the sieve, while the air with the dust passes through the sieve and exits through the pipe 4.
The conveyed material generally falls from the sieve and out of the container through the opening 5. However, in order to also detach the conveyed goods that are stuck on the sieve 2, according to the invention a circumferential breaker plate 6 is provided, which has the shape of a circular section and sits on an axis 7 which is set in rotation by a disk 8.
During the rotation of the breaker plate 6, the passage of air at these points is prevented, as a result, supported by the vortex formation, the conveyed material is detached from the sieve and falls down.
The design of the breaker plate 6 can of course be different, it must adapt to the respective shape of the container and the sieve. The direction of movement of the plate is indifferent. You can of course also vice versa let the filter move in relation to a stationary breaker. Since the separation takes place purely pneumatically without the aid of mechanical means, the conveyed material is not damaged in any way.
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 3-6, the container is designed like a drum, so that at the same time it is achieved that the material that gets into the drum-like container is no longer under the action of the suction air after it has been detached from the sieve. In this embodiment, the goods to be conveyed enters the drum-shaped container 10 through the line 3a, it flows in the direction of the arrows shown (Fig. 4), and the compressed air or suction air flows through the together with the dust separated from the goods in the middle of the drum arranged tube 4a. An impeller rotates in the drum 10, which impeller consists of blades 11 which are attached to a hollow cylindrical sieve or filter 12.
The pipe 4a through which the suction air is discharged

the drum 10 has a cutout 13 over part of its circumference, which is preferably so large that it corresponds to the division of at least one cell on the sieve surface 12, so that always one, possibly also two cells through the sieve or filter surface 12 and the Opening 13 communicate with the interior of the tube 4a. The cellular wheel or impeller is connected by an axle 14 to a drive pulley 15, by means of which the wheel is set in rotation.
On the inlet side of the tube 3a, there is a certain amount of clearance between the impeller and the end wall 16 of the drum 10, so that part of the suction air can also pass through in the direction of the arrow next to the impeller, in order to convey parts of the to be conveyed, for example, on the end faces of the blades Tearing away what is good and preventing it from being damaged. The drum is provided with an outlet opening 17 on the lower side.
The operation of the facility is as follows: The goods to be transported or dedusted, e.g. The cut tobacco to be fed to a mixing or roasting drum is conveyed into the upper cell of the drum 4a by compressed air or suction air through the conduit 3a.
This is through the sieve and the opening 13 with the interior of the tube 4a in connection. The dust is sucked through the sieve or filter 12 and entrained with the air current flowing on through the pipe 4a. The dust-free material remains in the upper cell. As a result of the drive by means of the disk 15, this continues to rotate gradually. As soon as it has turned 900, the associated screen surface has stepped over the fixed part of the pipe 13 and the suction air is shut off.
As a result, the tobacco still adhering to the sieve surface 12 becomes detached from the latter, and when the cellular wheel has then rotated another 900, the tobacco can fall out through the lower opening 17. This part of the cellular wheel, from which the material falls out, in order to be transported further by its own gravity, is completely closed off from the suction air flow, and therefore the falling of the tobacco is in no way impaired by the suction or compressed air flow.
In FIGS. 5 and 6 a section is drawn through a further embodiment in which the suction of the dust does not take place through a sieve provided on the inner peripheral surface, but rather a sieve or filter provided on the outer peripheral surface. Here the cell wheel consists of blades. M, which are attached to a cylindrical screen surface surrounding them on the outside. The sieve area will

is removed. On part of the cylindrical circumference. the suction line 23 connects. The mode of action here is exactly the same as described above. Dust is removed from the incoming material and, as the drum moves on, it is sealed off by the suction air until it can finally fall down through the discharge opening.
As. already stated above, in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the material falls through the opening 5, and this is followed by a so-called lock which closes the container 1 from the outside air. This lock, which is shown in section, consists of a housing 26 in which the cellular wheel 27 rotates in the direction of the arrow. The conveyed material 28 is conveyed by the cellular wheel from the outlet point 23 to the outlet pipe 29 and from there arrives in a collecting container or the like
In order to prevent the conveyed material from tearing between the blades of the impeller and the housing wall, a passage opening 30 is provided in the housing wall next to the outlet opening 23, the opening cross-section of which can be regulated as desired by a slide 31 or the like.
The mode of operation is as follows: When the cell wheel rotates, a shovel comes in

who works with either singing or compressed air. The strength of the additional air flow can be regulated as desired by changing the cross section 30. When you pass the edge of the blades, what is sitting on the edges becomes. The conveyed goods are blown away.
