will.
The chamber of the valves 10 and 16 consists of a housing 20 which is provided with a screw socket 21 which is connected to the brake cylinder 22 (Fig. 2) by a pipe 23 and on the other hand by a screw cap 24 which carries a screw socket 25 by means a pipe 26 can be connected to a manifold 27 of any type which is controlled by the pedal (Fig. 2). The distribute. r 27 is itself connected to the supply pipe network 30 of the engine by a pipe 29.
The totality of the rotating parts of the device is built into a multi-part housing 31 (FIG. 1) which is itself screwed into an eye 32 on the housing wall of the speed change gear.
When the carriage runs forward, the wheel 3 drives the screw 4 in the direction of the arrow.
The screw 4 rotates the nut 5 and the flywheel 6. The latter, due to its inertia, screws the nut 5 onto the screw until the large flank of the recess 8 meets the stop 7
EMI2.2
Depressing the brake pedal 28 (FIG. 2) opens the distributor 27, the air from the brake cylinder 22 is sucked in through the pipe 23, passes between the valve 16 and its seat 17, flows through the pipe 26, reaches the distributor 27 and finally in the supply pipe network 30 of the engine.

back and the re-entry of air stops. On the other hand, the valve 16 remains in its seat, because the spring 18 is dimensioned such that it cannot compensate for the difference in the pressures that exist on both sides of the valve 16 in this moment. The spring 19 acts as a shock absorber.
If the attempt to lock the wheels occurs again, the same processes are repeated and the valve 10 allows the amount of air necessary to achieve the release position to enter again. This means that the vehicle can be stopped without locking or sliding the rear wheels.
To avoid locking the front wheels, you can, for. B. set up the brake linkage so that when the force exerted by the cylinder 22 on the rear brakes reaches its maximum, the force exerted on the front brakes at that moment, e.g. B. is nine tenths of the maximum allowed force.
The subject matter of the invention is not bound to the illustrated embodiment. Thus, any coupling element, direct or indirect, can be used between the shaft carrying the screw 4 and the shaft of the speed change gearbox or any other element located in
EMI2.6
provide that the rotating mass 6 is not attached directly to the nut 5, but is connected to 5 by any suitable coupling element.
The rotating parts of the device can also be attached to the inside or outside of the housing of the speed change gearbox or elsewhere, the valve chamber can be combined with the brake cylinder and the valves can be adjusted using any suitable actuator.
Finally, the control device described can be used not only in motor vehicles, but also in vehicles of any other type.
