EMI1.1
The invention relates to a device for injecting fuel into the suction chamber of internal combustion engines. The fuel is sucked in by a pump and pressed to the atomizing nozzle in the suction chamber in order to form the gas mixture required for starting when the machine is cold. The previously known devices of this type have the disadvantage that at the end of the pressure stroke the fuel liquid is no longer atomized and emerges as a jet. This subsequent injection is due to the amount of air that always remains in the pump chamber. When the pump piston or the diaphragm has reached the end position of the pressure stroke, the compressed air present in the pressure space will expand and thereby force liquid to the nozzle with such a low pressure that it exits without atomization.
This liquid fuel then gets into the cylinders and causes multiple damage.
According to the invention, the escape of fuel as a liquid is now prevented by the fact that the pressure line to the atomizer nozzle is closed at the end of the pressure stroke while the pressure is acting. For this purpose, the pump piston is provided with a shoulder which closes the outlet opening for the fuel from the pressure chamber at the end of the pressure stroke.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing.
EMI1.2
Now to permanently maintain this closure of the pressure line, which must be the case in operation, a screw sleeve n is slidably arranged on a square of the approach f, which is pressed by a soft spring o against the nut thread in the pump bottom. When turning the knob c

and keeps it closed.
If the piston itself carries the threaded piece to close the pressure channel after using the injection device, a spring-loaded pin guided in the piston is required, which closes the pressure stroke at the end of the pressure stroke and counteracts it when the thread is tightened by rotating the piston while increasing the spring tension the ball of the pressure valve pushes. Since the volume in the pressure chamber is reduced here, but the outlet into the pressure line is closed, a return flow into the suction line must be provided.
PATENT CLAIMS:]. Device for injecting fuel to facilitate starting, characterized in that the pressure line to the atomizer nozzle is closed at the end of the pressure stroke of the injection pump while the pressure is acting.
