   In der Mitte der Scheibe ist eine Öffnung   d   vorgesehen, welche als Ventilsitz für den zum Einführen des Schmiermateriales dienenden Ventilkörper e ausgebildet ist, welcher von einer Feder h stets gegen die Scheibe b gedrückt wird und dessen Stange f in einem, von nach innen reichenden Armen des Nabendeckels getragenen Führungsstück   9   gleitet. 



   Sobald der das Lagerinnere durch die Scheibe   b   untersuchende Arbeiter bemerkt, dass eine Ergänzung des Schmiermateriales erforderlich ist, kann er dieselbe sofort vornehmen, indem er mit dem   Mundstück   der Schmierkanne oder dgl. den Ventilkörper nach innen drückt und das Schmiermaterial in den Nabendeckel giesst.
