   Der Kouservierungsraum ist durch einen Deckel s abgeschlossen, der mittels eines   Gummiringen   t luftdicht   abschliessend   auf dem oberen Mündungsrand des Behälters aufliegt. An einer Stelle   seines-um-   fanges besitzt der Konservierungsraum eine Durchbrechung M, welche durch eine   Drehklappe l'verschliess-   bar ist und durch eine doppelarmige Handhabe   n'betätigt   werden kann. Sollen Waren, welche in den Konservierungsraum eingelegt worden sind, aus ihm herausgenommen werden, so muss zuerst die Drehklappe v mittels des Handgriffes   ?   von der   Lufteinlassöffnung     u   weggeschoben werden. Die in den Konservierungsraum eintretende Luft gestattet dann die Abnahme des Deckels.

   Die Einlassöffnung   u   muss   selbstverständlich   vor einer neuerlichen Inbetriebsetzung des Apparates wieder geschlossen werden, bevor mit dem Auspumpen der Luft begonnen wird. 



   Bei grösseren Ausführungen des Apparates nach der Erfindung können natürlich zwei oder mehrere Kolben in den-Behälter eingebaut werden, wobei ein gemeinsamer oder ein ebenfalls unterteilter Konservierungsraum Verwendung finden kann. Im letzteren Falle ist jede Abteilung für sich   zugänglich   und das   Luftabsaugen   bloss auf die eben geöffnete Kammer beschränkt.
