Ribbon-shaped electrical line with one or more conductors.
The invention relates to single-core or multi-core electrical lines, the conductors of which are embedded between insulating tapes. The conductors are expediently made of a metal band or of braided strands; however, wires or strands with any other cross-section can also be used.
According to the invention, the insulating tapes forming the intermediate layers are formed by a single insulating tape which is zigzagged along its length.
The lines formed in this way are expediently covered with a protective cover, e.g. B. surround a band of fabric surrounding one side with an adhesive, which band of fabric still has a rubberized longitudinal strip to the outside, so that the line can be attached to the wall without further tools, e.g. B. on the wallpaper can be attached.
When the line is designed with two ribbon-shaped conductors, for some purposes, e.g. B. for a bell line, the insulating tape separating the two conductors made of elastic mateiial and provided with recesses or with the entire length of recesses, so that by pressing on the conduction tape, the end between the two conductors is generated and a signaling device is actuated , while after the pressure has stopped due to the elasticity of the insulating tape, the two conductors come out of contact again.
Branches can also easily be made on such lines by inserting an insulating piece into the cutouts, which is slightly thicker than the thickness of the insulating tape and has contact sheets connected to the branch line on both sides, which when inserted, the conductive connection with the two conductors manufacture with the same.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in some exemplary embodiments in the accompanying drawings. Fig. 1 shows the line diagrammatically seen from the side and above, Fig. 2 shows another embodiment with partial removal of individual parts, and Fig. 3 shows the insertion of a junction plug, the individual layers such as insulating tape, conductor and sheath being larger in all drawings Are drawn apart for clarity.
The two band-shaped conductors 1 and 2 are surrounded by the zigzag-shaped insulating band 3, so that the conductors are insulated both from one another and from the outside. The protective sheath 4, which surrounds the insulating tapes 3, is provided on one broad side with an adhesive layer 5 with which the line is fastened in place.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the same parts are denoted by the same numbers as in FIG. However, the insulating tape 3 is provided with recesses 6, which can also be completely continuous, so that the insulating tape 3 is then in two parts and instead of the zigzag fold each part surrounds the tape-shaped conductors 1 or 2 in a U-shape.
3 shows a connection plug for branching off a line. On the insulating piece 7, which is so wide that it can be easily pushed into the recess of the insulating tape 3, the contact pieces 8 and 9 are attached on both sides. By inserting the plug, the contact piece 8 with the conductor 2 and the contact piece 9 with the conductor 1 now come into conductive contact.
To insert the stopper, recesses can of course also be provided on the narrow side of the line.
The new cables are characterized above all by their flat, ribbon-like shape and by the fact that they are easy to attach with adhesive, so that they can be laid very quickly and almost invisibly.
