Carburettor with a float housing located on the side of the mixing chamber.
The invention relates to a carburetor with a float housing arranged to the side of the mixing chamber and a fuel nozzle tube arranged axially in the float housing and consists in that the mixing tube connecting the fuel nozzle with the mixing chamber is located within a trough-shaped recess of the float near the fuel level.
The mixing tube can be guided to the outside through the float housing and outside it can be provided with the air intake nozzle. However, an air intake nozzle can also be arranged inside and a second intake nozzle outside the float housing.
If several fuel nozzles are arranged, each nozzle pipe can work together with its own mixing pipe.
The new design of the carburetor primarily reduces the overall height compared to the previous embodiments, which in view of the lack of space, especially in the case of vehicle engines. is of great importance for the carburetor connection. The new arrangement also makes it possible to keep the fuel nozzle very short so that when the carburetor is tilted and especially when cornering at high speeds, the fluctuations in the fuel level can no longer have a detrimental effect on the mixture formation.
Finally, the risk of the swimmer getting caught is also significantly reduced, especially since

If the mixing tube 5 is guided to the outside through the float housing 2, the mixed air is removed from the outside. In this case the carburetor can serve as a compressor carburetor, i. H. The air or a mixture itself can be supplied to it from outside.
The implementation of the mixing tube 5 through the Sehwimmer housing to the outside is shown in Fig. 3 in section. The float housing is again designated by 2, the float by 3, the fuel nozzle tube by 4 and the mixing tube located in the recess 9 by 5.
