Elektrische Klingel.

Electric bell.
The present invention relates to an electric bell. which is set up with switching, contact and fastening devices for operation by means of a dry battery and consists in the fact that the contact parts for connecting the dry battery are provided on the narrow edge of the bell support plate and the clip, which is free-standing for receiving the dry battery outside the support plate, has a pivotable one , is provided under spring action pressure bar, by means of which the dry battery is pressed against the contacts. This design creates the possibility of redesigning the bells, which were previously built for conducted electricity, for dry batteries without any special changes, and of ensuring that contact is always reliable.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of a bell according to the invention is shown

In the drawing, a denotes the usual bell mechanism. b the base plate, e, c 'the terminals for the cables leading to and from the button, d. d'the contact plates attached to the base plate a and guided over the narrow edge of the base plate, which are conductively connected on the one hand to the pushbutton line and on the other hand (through l) to the magnet coil, e a sheet metal web attached to the back surface of the base plate, which has one of the cross-sectional shape of a Troekenbatterie-adapted clasp f carries, g the pressure bar, which is attached to the clasp so that it can be swiveled by tension springs h, h 'and i the dry battery, which is pushed into clasp f with the pressure bar pivoted to the side until its contacts k, k' rest on the contact plate, whereupon the pressure bar against the tension of the springs h,
h 'is placed on the bottom surface of the battery, so that, as a result of the spring tension, it presses the battery downwards, hence its contacts, against the contact plates d, d'd, and establishes a secure line connection.
