Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sehutzdecke aus Drahtseilen für Laufmäntel, welche ohne Schaden beschotterte Strassen befahren kann, das Eindringen schädlicher Körper gänzlich verhindert, so dass die Gummibereifung eine erhöhte Lebensdauer erhält.
Diese Schutzdecke, die aus endlosen Drahtseilstücken besteht und quer zur Umfangsrichtung über die Gummibereifung gelegt ist, hat den Vorteil, dass sie naturgemäss durch ihre Struktur eine gute Adhäsion beim Bremsen des Fahrzeuges auf glitschiger Laufbahn bewirkt und das Schleudern verhindert.
