Egge.

Harrow.
The subject of the present invention is an improvement of the harrow according to patent no. 97952. According to the invention, the stop which determines the depth of engagement of the blades is adjustable on two special carriers located at the rear end of the machine frame, between which one of the actuating levers for the scraper arms moves. This arrangement makes it possible to use a short flat iron, a bolt or the like as a stop instead of the stop bar extending over the entire width of the harrow frame according to the main patent, and to arrange this at the rear end of the harrow, making the whole construction lighter and gets cheaper.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the device are shown diagrammatically in FIGS. 1 and 2.
As according to the parent patent, the harrow consists in a known manner of a lattice frame A attached to two bars 1, 2, which carries vertical teeth 3, and rests on two pairs of rollers 5, which are rotatably mounted in the frame A on the stripping arms 9 ″ Transverse shafts 9. Upwardly directed arms 13 are attached to these transverse shafts 9 and are connected to one another by means of a rod 14 which is connected at the rear to the hand lever 15 rotatably mounted about the pin 16 by means of a joint member 14a.
By turning the hand lever 15, the scraper arms 9a are pivoted downwards, with the knife 3 being removed from the adhering weeds, moss and the like. like. free. At the same time, the action of the wheels 5 supported against the ground lifts the harrow upwards so that the stripped weeds can fall freely onto the ground. As soon as the hand lever 15 is released. the harrow falls back under its own weight, so that the knives come into engagement with the earth again, their engagement depth being determined in advance by the corresponding adjustment of the crossbar 17.
According to the invention, two special longitudinal beams 18 or 18 'are provided at the rear end of the machine frame, to which the short stop 17 or 17' which determines the depth of engagement of the knives is adjustably attached and between which one of the actuating levers 13 for the stripping arms 9 "is located. emotional.
Either perforated flat bars 18 (FIG. 1), to which the stop 17 is secured by means of the pin 19, are used as the longitudinal beams. or perforated angle iron 18 (Fig'2) is used, in which latter case a bolt 17 'serves as a stop, which is pushed through the holes provided in the vertical arms of the angle iron 18'.
