Flitgelsicherung für Manlicher-Schönauer Repetiergewehre.
Es gibt bereits eine Vorrichtung zur Sicherung eines mit einem Fernrohr versehenen Jagdgewehres, bestehend in einem in gesichertem Zustande des Schlagbolzen vor dem Fernrohr liegenden Flügel, der umgelegt werden muss, wenn das Gesichtsfeld frei werden soll. Durch das Umlegen wird gleichzeitig entsichert.
Diese Anordnung hat den Nachteil, dass das Gewehr während der Zeit bis zum Abdrücken entsichert bleibt ; während dieser Zeit sind erfahrungsgemäss Unfälle möglich. Sichert man aber das Gewehr, so ist das Gesichtsfeld für die nächste Beobachtung wieder verdeckt.
Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Achse des dem Manlichergewehr nachgebildeten Sicherungsflügels über die Schlagbolzenmutter hinaus verlängert, so dass der Sicherungsflügel auch bei gesichertem Gewehr seitlich unterhalb des Fernrohres zu liegen kommt. Soll das Gewehr entsichert werden, so ist der Sicherungflügel um 1800 nach unten zu drehen, wobei er vor der Schlagbolzenmutler vorbeigeführt wird. Während also fiüher das Drehfeld des Sicherungsflügels oberhalb des Schlosses lag, ist es entsprechend der vorliegenden Erfindung nach unten, u. zw. vor die Schlagbolzenmutter verlegt. Dadurch ist das Gesichtsfeld des Fernrohres für das Ziel dauernd frei und die Entsicheruug braucht erst dann zu erfolgen, wenn das Wild schussgerecht ist.
Ausserdem hat diese Vorrichtung gegenüber allen andern bisher üblichen Sicherungen, bei denen der Sicherungsflügel zwischen Schloss und Fernrohr bewegt wird, und bei denen infolgedessen der Abstand des Fernrohres vom Schloss durch die Höhe des Sicherungsflügels festgelegt ist, den Vorteil, dass das Fernrohr ganz nahe auf das Schloss gesetzt werden kann, wodurch bequemes und sicheres Zielen ermöglicht wird.
In der beigefügten Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgedankens dargestellt.
