Gatteraufhängung für Stickmaschinen.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Gatteraufhängung für Stickmaschinen und bezweckt die Sicherung der Stahlbandaufhängung der Gatter. Um zu verhüten, dass einerseits durch Reissen des Stahlbandes das schwere Gatter beim Niederfallen beschädigt wird, anderseits durch Vorschnellen des gebrochenen Stahlbandes in der Nähe befindliche Personen von diesem verletzt werden, wird erfindungsgemäss sowohl um das wagrecht (zur Gatteraufhängung führende) als auch um das lotrecht (zur Federspannung führende) gespannte Stahlband ein Drahtseil herumgelegt und derart befestigt, dass letzteres in normalem Zustande keinen Zug aufzunehmen hat. Die Zugspannung nimmt daher nach wie vor das Stahlband auf.
Reisst nun aus irgend welcher Ursache, was wiederholt vorgekommen ist, ein Stahlband, so wird die Zugspannung sofort vom Drahtseil aufgenommen, das Gatter kann nicht niederfallen und das betreffende abgerissene Stahlband kann infolge der Unterlegung mit dem nunmehr straff gespannten Drahtseil niemanden gefährden.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in den Fig. 1, 2 und 3 dargestellt. Mit 1 ist das Seitengestell der Stickmaschine bezeichnet, mit 2 das Gatter. Letzteres hängt an dem wagrecht verlaufenden und um die Scheibe 3 geschlungenen und an dieser befestigten Stahlband 4. Ein zweites lotrecht verlaufendes Stahlband 5, das über die Scheiben 6 und 7 gelegt ist, führt zur Federspannung 8.
Um nun zu verhindern, dass bei Reissen der Stahl bänder 4 und 5 diese in der Pfeilrichtung vorschnellen und dadurch in der Nähe befindliche Personen gefährden, ist sowohl das wagrechte als auch das lotrechte Stahlband 4 und 5 mit Drahtseilen 9 bzw. 10 unterlegt, die in normalem Zustande ungespannt, erst beim Reissen des Stahlbandes den Zug aufnehmen und ein Vorschnellen des gerissenen Stahlbandes verhindern.

The invention relates to a gate suspension for embroidery machines and aims to secure the steel band suspension of the gates. In order to prevent that on the one hand the heavy gate is damaged by tearing the steel belt when it falls down, and on the other hand that people in the vicinity are injured by the broken steel belt rushing forward, according to the invention both the horizontal (leading to the gate suspension) and the vertical Tensioned steel band (leading to spring tension) wrapped a wire rope around and fastened it in such a way that the latter does not have to absorb any tension in normal condition. The tensile stress therefore continues to be absorbed by the steel strip.
If, for whatever reason, which has occurred repeatedly, a steel band tears, the tensile stress is immediately absorbed by the wire rope, the gate cannot fall down and the broken steel band in question cannot endanger anyone as a result of the underlay with the now taut wire rope.
