Mechanical switches from the driver's cab while driving.
The invention relates to a device that allows the adjustment of the switches from the driver's cab while driving, u. This adjustment can be made regardless of whether the train is going from one or the other main direction or from the secondary track onto the main track. Turnout adjusting devices, in which the shifting of the turnouts is carried out in such a way that pressure wheels, which are attached to the locomotive, are pressed down on pressure rails arranged parallel to the rails and thereby adjust the turnouts by means of a lever transmission, are known.
The invention relates to such switch control devices and consists essentially in the fact that the pressure exerted on the pressure rails turns an adjusting wheel which adjusts the switch tongues by means of a handlebar, and that this single adjusting wheel allows the switches to be adjusted regardless of whether the train runs on the main or secondary track, can be completed. The further features of the invention relate to the construction details of the device.
An example embodiment of the invention is shown in the figures of the drawing, u. Between FIG. 1 shows the overall device arranged on two pairs of lines viewed from above, FIG. 2 shows the signal box with the signaling device in a side view and FIGS. 3 and 4 construction details, while FIG. 5 shows the type of arrangement the pressure wheels on the locomotive is indicated schematically
As can be seen from FIG. 1, narrow pressure rails 2, 2 ′ are arranged along the outside of the railroad tracks 1, which run either below or above the rails 1 and correspond to the gauge of the pressure wheels 3 attached to the locomotive.
These pressure wheels are attached to both sides of the locomotive and can be pressed down onto the rails 2, 2 ′ from the driver's cab by a corresponding lever device and then lifted. Each pressure rail is attached at one end directly or indirectly to levers 4, 5 or 6 so that these levers

Transfer handlebar 8.
The operation of the device is as follows: If the train coming from the direction a (Fig. 1) is to continue on a straight line, but the position of the points is incorrect, the locomotive driver lets the signal disc 9 or a semaphore do this Indicates incorrect position, the left DruekradJaufdielinkeDruckschieneShinunter, whereby the double arm 5 rotatable about the pin sets the rod 11, this the bevel gear 12 and this again the steering rod 8 in motion. As a result, on the one hand, the flexible tongues 7 are displaced and, on the other hand, the second gear wheel 13 is set in motion, whereby the falling weight 14 falls on the other side and holds the tongues in the new position.
The pin 15 connecting the double lever 5 and the rod 11 acts on the levers 16, 17, so that when the left narrow rail 2 descends, the right narrow rail moves into the vertical position; therefore if z. B. another locomotive coming from the same direction a on the left turnout in the direction e, the right pressure wheel is now pressed onto the right pressure rail 2 located in the altitude and the process described above takes place in reverse order, so that then the left pressure rail goes up again.
According to the invention, the points can also be adjusted from the driver's cab when the train is coming from direction d or e. If the train comes from the direction d, then the wheel 12 (Fig. 1) by means of a connecting rod 18, which with its other end at a horizontal

rotated, which is attracted by pressing down the pressure rail 2 "and through the intermediary of the lever 4 (Fig. 3).
If the train finally comes from the direction e, then (Fig. 1, 2, 4) the rear end of the pressure rail 2 'is depressed, which is bent in the manner indicated in FIG. 4 in order to continue with its deeper horizontal continuation pull down the lever arm 5 at its other end and thus move the switch blades.
