Disk gas container.
The lightness of construction that is theoretically possible with the known disk gas containers, however, is limited in practice with regard to the required stiffening of both the container itself and its movable closing disk, on the one hand against the attacks of the wind, the effect of a blanket of snow, etc. on the other hand against the pressure of the gas enclosed in the container.
The subject of the invention is a disk gas container, in which a particularly effective stiffening against radial or axially acting stress is created in that it is stiffened above or below and above by a ring or disk-like body in such a way that the stiffening means in connection with the vertical Container walls form spatial corners.
An exemplary embodiment is shown schematically in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows a vertical, Fig. 2 shows two horizontal sections in different planes along line 11-11 through a disk gas container with the new reinforcement.
The gas container 1, in which the cover plate 2 slides, has, as is known, the base of a polygon, so its jacket consists of a large number of flat partial surfaces la, lb, 1e, etc.
According to the invention, a ring-shaped or disk-shaped stiffener 3 is attached to or in the container 1 above or below and above, which is designed either as a full, flat sheet metal body or as a framework and in connection with the vertical partial surfaces la, lb, le etc. of the container Represents corners. In the illustrated embodiment it is assumed that the stiffening body is formed by a three-dimensional framework 3a, 3b, 3e, the bars of which can run in any known arrangement.
In a similar way, the closure disk 2 of the container 1 can also be stiffened by a structural body 6 which consists of elements 6a, 6b.
A further increase in the stiffness of the container results from the fact that the partial surfaces 1a, 1b, etc. of the container shell, which form spatial corners with the stiffening body, are bent outwards at their joints to vertically extending stiffening ribs 4, which can also include additional supports 5 if required.
PATENT CLAIMS: l. Disk gas container, characterized in that a stiffening ring (3) or a stiff disk is arranged above or above and below such that spatial corners are formed in connection with the vertical container wall surfaces (la, a, 1b etc.).
