Reinforced concrete bars for putty-free glass roofs.
Reinforced concrete bars have so far been provided with a dovetail-shaped groove on their surface, which was equipped with a correspondingly double-bent metal cladding, the ends of which protruding over the surface of the concrete bars have been bent onto the glass panels resting on it in order to hold them in place. The remaining part of the surface of the rung, which is grooved in a known manner, had no cladding and was therefore easily exposed to damage, be it during tamping, tying, transport or assembly. In addition, the groove-shaped part of the concrete rung with its unevenness and roughness formed an obstacle to the proper drainage of water.
The object of the invention is that the reinforced concrete rungs are completely covered on their surface with sheet metal, as has already happened, for example, with rungs made of wood, u. zw. In such a way that the cladding sheet is used as the floor for the rammed form of the concrete rung. This has the advantage that the groove formation is completely accurate and that water can be drained off without any problems due to the smooth surface of the metal.
Damage to the grooves on the surface of the concrete rung is ruled out and the handling of the rung becomes much easier during its production, since it can be removed from the tamping point by simply turning over or removing the molded jacket while resting on the metal base used to cover the surface.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the reinforced concrete rung is shown. 1 is the reinforced concrete rung with its grooved surface 3, which has a dovetail-shaped groove 2 in the middle. This reinforced concrete rung is, as already mentioned, manufactured in such a way that a sheet metal 4 shaped accordingly to this surface profile is used as the bottom of the tamped form, the casing of which is set up removable so that after the tamping is finished, the rung, resting on the sheet 4, is removed from the The stamping point can be removed. This results in all the advantages mentioned at the beginning for the reinforced concrete rungs.
To complete it, it should be mentioned that the glass plates 5 are held in a known manner by the resilient plate 6 and screw 7 with the interposition of sealing material 8 on the reinforced concrete rung.
