Description

Asynchronous machine assembled with a frequency converter.

In the known use of a frequency converter to improve the power factor of asynchronous machines according to FIG
 EMI1.1
Commutator of Freql1enzwandlers E, which is only possible if this machine has no reversing poles. A further possibility consists in the artificial phase shift of the voltage printed on the slip rings of E by phase mixing in the transformer T, although technical difficulties arise at low voltage.

Finally, the deliberate postponement of the two E. 1Vf. 1\. can also be achieved by mutually rotating the shafts of 7 and E using a corresponding coupling. The present invention is based on this possibility, which is known per se. In particular, if the frequency converter is to be arranged overhung on the shaft of the main motor, the formation of an adjustable coupling leads to great structural difficulties.

According to the invention, a coupling is avoided and the stated difficulty is eliminated by arranging the connections of the slip rings on the direct current winding of the frequency converter so that they can be moved.

Figs. 2 and 3 show an embodiment of the new device. The slip rings are placed on a special hub 1 which can be rotated against a bushing 2 that is firmly keyed to the shaft.

The hub flange is provided with screws:: J, which grip through the elongated holes of the socket flange and allow the slip ring body to rotate depending on the length of these slots. The derivation bolts 4 of the slip rings have forks 5 at their ends, in each of which a knife 6 rotatable about point o is mounted. If you now provide any number of commutator segments 7 with appropriate slots, you can connect the knife to any segments, depending on your choice. After setting the set to the required operating condition, the connections are soldered and the adjusting screw 8 is attached.
