Abstract
Un conjunto de serpentín de orientación de semillas (240) configurado para recibir semillas (28) orientadas al azar de una sembradora de hilera agrícola y desplazar las semillas a través de una trayectoria curva que define una superficie de traslado de semillas (292) curva. Se crea una corriente de aire al inyectar aire a través de las boquillas inyectoras de aire (264) hacia la superficie curva de traslado de semillas, y se retira el aire mediante el venteo del mismo a través de un orificio de venteo (268) de aire radialmente hacia adentro desde la superficie curva de traslado de semillas. La semilla se estabiliza, se alinea y es atrapada en la corriente de aire utilizando una combinación de aerodinámica, fuerza centrífuga y geometría de la trayectoria. Una salida de semillas (244) se configura para que se descargue dentro de un surco en forma de cuña, liberar la semilla de la corriente de aire y encajar en cuña la semilla en el surco antes de ser cubierto por una rueda tapadora, para de ese modo sembrar la semilla alineada dentro del suelo mientras se logra la orientación de la semilla con la punta hacia abajo y el germen de cara hacia una hilera adyacente.
