Abstract

Un sistema para reestructurar fotogramas de video. Un método que codifica video en un flujo de bits que comprende: (a) recibir dicho video que comprende una pluralidad de fotogramas I, fotogramas B, y fotogramas P, donde dichos fotogramas I son cada uno de los fotogramas intracodificados, donde dichos fotogramas P son cada uno de los fotogramas predichos anticipadamente, y dichos fotogramas B son cada uno de los fotogramas predichos bidireccionalmente; (b) determinar si uno de dichos fotogramas B es un fotograma repetido de un fotograma B inmediatamente anterior de dicho video codificado; (c) determinar si dicho fotograma B inmediatamente anterior de dicho video codificado es una repetición de un fotograma inmediatamente anterior a dicho fotograma B inmediatamente anterior; (d) promover dicho uno de dichos fotogramas B a un fotograma P o un fotograma I si (i) dicho uno de dichos fotogramas B es un fotograma repetido de dicho fotograma B inmediatamente anterior de dicho video codificado; y (ii) dicho fotograma B inmediatamente anterior de dicho video codificado no es una repetición de dicho fotograma inmediatamente anterior a dicho fotograma B inmediatamente anterior; (e) codificar dicho video en dicho flujo de bits que incluye dichos fotogramas I, dichos fotogramas B, y dichos fotogramas P.
