Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a métodos para aumentar la producción de bromoformo. Reivindicación 1: Un método para producir bromoformo, el método caracterizado porque comprende incubar un organismo o una parte de este, células, un lisado del organismo o una parte de este o células, o una mezcla de estos, que comprende una haloperoxidasa dependiente de vanadato, en la presencia de al menos un compuesto de fórmula (1), donde R¹ y R² se seleccionan independientemente entre: hidrógeno, hidroxilo, alifático opcionalmente sustituido, O-alquilo opcionalmente sustituido o S-alquilo opcionalmente sustituido, o R¹ y R² se unen para formar un anillo de seis miembros opcionalmente sustituido de fórmula (1a), donde R³, R⁴, R⁵, R⁶, R⁷ y R⁸ se seleccionan independientemente entre hidrógeno o un alifático opcionalmente sustituido. Reivindicación 52: Un extracto o lisado de un organismo o parte de este, microorganismo o células incubado de conformidad con el método según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 4 o 6 a 48, caracterizado porque el extracto o lisado comprende bromoformo. Reivindicación 53: Un alimento, bebida o complemento alimenticio para animales caracterizado porque comprende todos o uno o más de bromoformo producido mediante un método según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 48, el medio condicionado de la reivindicación 50 o 51 o el extracto o lisado de la reivindicación 52, y que comprende al menos uno de otro ingrediente de alimento, bebida o suplemento. Reivindicación 54: Una composición caracterizada porque comprende todos o uno o más de bromoformo producido mediante un método según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 48, el medio condicionado de la reivindicación 50 o 51 o el extracto o lisado de la reivindicación 52, y que comprende al menos uno de otro ingrediente de alimento, bebida o suplemento. Reivindicación 59: Una levadura para producir bromoformo según el método de una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 48, la levadura caracterizada porque comprende un polinucleótido exógeno que codifica una haloperoxidasa dependiente de vanadato, donde la levadura comprende a modificación de genes de catalasa o se incuba en presencia de un inhibidor de la actividad de la catalasa.
