Abstract
Una bomba de pozo sumergible (13) tiene difusores (49) fijados dentro del alojamiento (25) y un impulsor (63) montado entre cada uno de los difusores. Los manguitos espaciadores (71) ubicados entre y en contacto con los conectores (65) de impulsores adyacentes definen una pila (73) en la que los impulsores rotan al unísono con el eje (29) y se pueden mover axialmente en simultáneo con relación al eje. Un reborde de tope (75) del eje entra en contacto con el extremo inferior de la pila. Un resorte (77) montado en compresión alrededor del eje en contacto con el extremo superior de la pila impulsa el extremo inferior de la pila contra el reborde de tope. El movimiento hacia arriba de la pila requiere una mayor compresión del resorte. Los espacios de empuje ascendente y descendente (81, 87) entre cada impulsor y los difusores adyacentes evitan que el empuje ascendente y descendente se transfiera a cualquiera de los difusores.
