Abstract

Una composición de polietileno multimodal de alta resistencia útil para fabricar un artículo de plástico a partir de esta, en donde la composición incluye una mezcla de: (a) al menos una primera resina de polímero que comprende una resina de copolímero de alto peso molecular que tiene un peso molecular mayor de 350.000 g/mol; (b) al menos una segunda resina de polímero que comprende una resina de homopolímero de bajo peso molecular que tiene un peso molecular menor de 30.000 g/mol; y (c) al menos una tercera resina de polímero que comprende una resina de copolímero de peso molecular medio que tiene un peso molecular de 50.000 g/mol a 150.000 g/mol; en donde la composición de polietileno multimodal de alta resistencia tiene una resistencia mínima requerida mayor de 11,3 MPa; un proceso para producir la composición anterior; y un artículo de tubería elaborado a partir de la composición anterior.
