Abstract
Se presenta un sensor de composición para medir la composición de mezclas de fluidos. El sensor de composición incluye una pluralidad de fuentes de emisión de alto brillo que tienen respectivas bandas de emisión de longitud de onda espectralmente estrechas en la región del infrarrojo. Las bandas de emisión de longitud de onda se superponen con bandas de longitud de onda de absorción de la composición. Las bandas de emisión de longitud de onda se multiplexan por longitud de onda y se multiplexan por tiempo antes de la emisión a través de una mezcla de fluidos. Un solo detector óptico detecta la luz emitida. El sensor de composición incluye brazos que pueden rotar para medir la composición en diferente posición angular de una tubería en una sección lateral de un pozo petrolífero. Se proporciona la rotación de los brazos mediante la rotación de un elemento de un recipiente móvil al cual el brazo está rígidamente acoplado. La rotación de los brazos se provee por medio de una rotación de una nariz del recipiente móvil que rota en forma independiente con respecto a un cuerpo principal del recipiente móvil.
