Abstract
La presente solicitud está relacionada con un sistema para ocluir un desgarro por disección, el cual incluye un stent y por lo menos un oclusor y está configurado de manera tal que el stent y el oclusor se separan uno del otro antes de la introducción del sistema hasta un sitio meta y se conectan entre sí después de la introducción del sistema hasta un sitio meta. La presente solicitud es ventajosa en cuanto a que el stent y el oclusor pueden introducirse y liberarse por separado en un vaso sanguíneo enfermo para reducir de manera significativa la resistencia encontrada durante su introducción y liberación. Además, cuando se ajusta el sistema para permitir la entrada del oclusor en el lumen falso, solo se debe ajustar el oclusor, lo cual da como resultado una menor dificultad quirúrgica y una mejor tasa de éxito quirúrgico.
