Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Una composición para la inhibición de brotes en tubérculos, dicha composición comprende un compuesto de acetolactato sintasa (ALS). Reivindicación 3: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 2 en donde dicho compuesto de acetolactato sintasa es un compuesto de imidazolinona seleccionado de imazametabenz, imazamox, imazapic, imazaquín, imazetapir, imazapir y combinaciones de estos. Reivindicación 4: La composición de acuerdo con la reivindicación 2, en donde dicho compuesto de imidazolinona es imazamox. Reivindicación 11: Un método para inhibir brotes en tubérculos, en donde dicho método comprende tratar el tubérculo en condiciones antes del almacenamiento o de almacenamiento con imazamox. Reivindicación 17: Uso de un herbicida de acetolactato sintasa como inhibidor de brotes en tubérculos. Reivindicación 18: Uso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 17 en donde dicho herbicida de acetolactato sintasa es imazamox.
