Abstract
En una forma de realización, se genera un primer plano de luz a través de un pasaje mediante un primer conjunto de emisores LED. Hay una matriz correspondiente de receptores de fotodiodos que detecta partículas que pasan a través de una primera cantidad de canales de luz que comprenden al primer plano de luz. En una segunda forma de realización, un segundo conjunto de emisores LED genera un segundo plano de luz a través del pasaje a 90 grados respecto del primer plano de luz y desplazado longitudinalmente respecto del primer plano de luz. Una correspondiente matriz de receptores de fotodiodos detecta partículas que pasan a través de una segunda cantidad de canales de luz que comprenden al segundo plano de luz. El segundo plano de luz es capaz de identificar en una tercera dimensión las partículas que pueden pasar desapercibidas al pasar por el primer plano de luz. Las señales de salida en bruto generadas por los respectivos fotodiodos se normalizan, analizan y caracterizan para diferenciar entre las partículas que pasan a través de los planos de luz como partículas individuales o como grupos de partículas superpuestas que se cuentan por separado.
