Abstract
La presente se refiere a composiciones y métodos para aumentar la tolerancia al estrés abiótico y/o para reducir la consecuencia del estrés abiótico en una planta y/o parte de ella. En algunos aspectos, el método comprende poner en contacto una planta y/o su parte con una primera composición que comprende uno o más de aminoguanidina, L-nitroarginina, éster metílico de L-nitroarginina, 2,2-bipiridina, 4-metilpirazol, 8-hidroxiquinilina, ácido caprílico, pirazol, naringenina, kaempferol, quercetina, ácido dodecanoico, y/o ácido undecanoico, y/o una de sus sales; y una segunda composición que comprende por lo menos un ácido dicarboxílico y/o una de sus sales.
