Abstract

El equipo permite una vez que se ha encontrado un cardumen de calamar u otra especie, seguir el movimiento de las corrientes en la profundidad, y con ello el movimiento del cardumen y así continuar con su pesca. Una opción comprende un objeto flotante con flotabilidad neutra al cual se le puede agregar peso, p. ej. sólido o bien agua, para lograr que la flotabilidad del mismo llegue a un valor neutro, es decir se sumerge y queda flotando en ese punto sin ascender ni descender, el objetivo es lograr que el artefacto se comporte como una boya con flotabilidad neutra. Esta “boya”, se sumerge a través de un cable a la profundidad en que se ha captado el cardumen, una vez que se llega a esa profundidad se desconecta el sistema de lastre, para que la boya empiece a actuar y se mantenga en la posición deseada. Con un cabo o cable esta estructura es mantenida en esa posición sustentada por la boya en superficie. Esta podrá contar con un sistema de rastreo de radar o GPS. Todo movimiento de la estructura sumergida es visualizado en la superficie del mar a través de la boya que señalara la posición de su complemento en la profundidad. Adicionalmente junto a la boya de se puede montar una caja estanca, en donde poner un GPS, baterías para iluminación de alta potencia en la profundidad, como así también un equipo reproductor de sonido, junto con parlantes conectados al equipo de profundidad, de sonidos de calamares. Otra opción comprende un objeto o estructura sumergida que actué como una hipotética “vela” (veleta) en donde la corriente marine impulse a este equipo en la profundidad. Esta estructura se baja a través de un cable a la profundidad en que se ha captado el cardumen. Con un cable o cabo es mantenida en la posición y sustentada por una boya. Todo movimiento de la estructura sumergida será visualizado a través de la boya que le provee la sustentación. Another option includes a submerged object or structure that acts as a hypothetical “sail” (weather vane) where the marine current propels this equipment at depth. This structure is lowered through a cable to the depth where the shoal has been captured. With a cable or rope it is held in position and supported by a buoy. All movement of the submerged structure will be visualized through the buoy that provides the support. Additionally, the options described above can be added.
