Abstract

The method of installing a TLP floating platform for wind farms in the sea, consisting of three symmetrically arranged hull arms and a column located centrally between them, in which, before towing the platform (1), the anchor chains (4) are fastened in anchor hatches located in the end parts of the arms of the hull, the hanging parts of the anchor chains (4) are laid along the hull arms, and their ends are attached to the deck near the column. The platform (1) is towed to the place of its installation, where a specialized ship (8) equipped with a deck crane (9) and centering device (10) approaches. After the anchoring works, the platform ballasting begins (1). The position of the specialist vessel (8) changes, positioning symmetrically between the arms of the platform hull (1), the stern to the column and slowly moves back until the axis of the column is approximately in the axis of the stern channel of the specialized vessel (8) and located on it the centering device (10), then the centering device is activated and the specialized vessel (8) connects with the platform column (1) with only one degree of freedom.
