Abstract
Se proporciona un método de producción de ácido acético que permite, en un sistema de depuración, una separación y obtención eficiente de yoduro de metilo y un solvente absorbente; restricción de la corrosión del interior de una columna de destilación; separación eficiente entre y recuperación de yoduro de hidrógeno y yoduro de metilo; o suficiente recuperación de yoduro de hidrógeno; el método de producción de ácido acético según la presente incluye un primer paso de absorción y un segundo paso de absorción; en el primer paso de absorción, un gas residual se pone en contacto con un primer absorbente para permitir que el primer absorbente absorbe un compuesto de yodo del gas residual, para dar un primer gas, donde el primer absorbente incluye al menos uno de alcoholes C₂ o superiores, ésteres de ácidos carboxílicos C₃ o superiores, ésteres entre ácidos carboxílicos y alcoholes C₂ o superiores. éteres, cetonas, agua y soluciones acuosas básicas; en el segundo paso de absorción, el primer gas se pone en contacto con un segundo absorbente para permitir que el segundo absorbente absorba un compuesto de yodo del primer gas, donde el segundo absorbente incluye al menos uno de alcoholes C₂ o superiores, ésteres de ácidos carboxílicos C₃ o superiores, éteres, ésteres entre ácidos carboxílicos y alcoholes C₂ o superiores, cetonas, agua, soluciones acuosas básicas, y ácido acético, y difiere en su composición del primer absorbente.
