Abstract
Se divulga un sistema informático, y métodos implementados por computadora relacionados, para reconocer enfermedades de los cultivos a partir de imágenes con campo de visión (FoV) grande. En algunas formas de realización, el sistema informático está configurado para construir inicialmente un primer modelo digital en una memoria para identificar una región que captura una hoja, y un segundo modelo para identificar una región que captura una hoja infectada con una enfermedad. Dada una imagen con FoV grande, bajo el control del programa, el sistema está programado para identificar entonces automáticamente las regiones candidatas que podrían capturar las hojas individuales de la imagen con FoV grande usando el primer modelo. El sistema está programado para determinar además si las regiones candidatas capturan los síntomas de una enfermedad del cultivo en hojas individuales utilizando el segundo modelo.
