Abstract

Se describe un dispositivo médico para llevar puesto en el cuerpo (1), donde el dispositivo médico está diseñado para que lo alimente una batería (2). El dispositivo médico incluye contactos de la batería (11) para lograr el contacto de la batería con un capacitor (12) en disposición eléctrica paralela con los contactos de la batería (11) y una unidad de control (14). La unidad de control (14) está configurada para controlar la operación del dispositivo médico (1). La unidad de control (14) incluye una unidad de testeo de las baterías (141); la unidad de testeo de las baterías (141) está configurada para ejecutar una prueba de la batería. La prueba de la batería incluye determinar una primera tensión U1 del capacitor, como el valor de una tensión U del capacitor, en un primer punto temporal t1; determinar una segunda tensión U2 del capacitor como el valor de una tensión U del capacitor, en un segundo punto temporal t2, posterior al primer punto temporal t1; extraer, entre el primer punto temporal t1 y el segundo punto temporal t2, una corriente de prueba, donde el primer punto temporal t1 se determina comenzando la extracción de la corriente de prueba y donde el segundo punto temporal t2 se determina de modo tal que la tensión U del capacitor en el segundo punto temporal t2 sea estable con la corriente de prueba que se está extrayendo; determinar un estado de carga de la batería a partir de una diferencia de tensión entre la primera tensión U1 del capacitor y la segunda tensión U2 del capacitor y/o de una diferencia de tiempo entre el primer punto temporal t1 y el segundo punto temporal t2.
