Abstract

Un proceso de craqueo con vapor para la conversión de hidrocarburos a hidrocarburos de menor tamaño, especialmente olefinas, en un reactor de tubos que comprende una sección de convección, una sección de cruce, y una sección radiante. El proceso incluye calentar la mezcla de fluidos dentro del tubo a una temperatura al final de la sección de convección donde se produce un craqueo significativo en la sección de cruce. Las elevadas temperaturas de la sección de convección y la sección de cruce permiten tener una temperatura inferior en las paredes del tubo en la sección radiante, dando lugar a una menor deposición de coque en la pared interna del tubo, y por ende longitudes de corrida prolongadas entre sesiones de descoque adyacentes.
