Abstract

Reformador de hidrocarburos y/o alcoholes y procedimiento de reformado de hidrocarburos y/o alcoholes.#El reformador de hidrocarburos y/o alcoholes comprende un primer circuito de producción de hidrógeno y un segundo circuito para la conducción de gases obtenidos mediante de la combustión de gas natural y aire en un quemador (1); y se caracteriza porque el segundo circuito comprende un escudo interior (21) de un material que irradia calor y porque el primer circuito comprende una pluralidad de tubos de reacción (11) rectos paralelos entre sí colocados circunferencialmente alrededor de dicho escudo interior (21).#Permite obtener un proceso más eficiente y por tanto, mayor rendimiento y una temperatura más uniforme, definiendo dos zonas de transferencia de calor, una por radiación del calor procedente de la llama del quemador, definida por el escudo interior, y otra por convección, definida en la zona donde está dispuesto el deflector y la espiral.
