Abstract

El aparato inalámbrico y el nodo de red facilitan la selección y el uso de una de las múltiples RAT para las comunicaciones entre el aparato inalámbrico y el nodo de red. La RAT seleccionada proporciona un menor consumo de energía en el aparato inalámbrico para las comunicaciones con el nodo de red. Para ese fin, el aparato inalámbrico selecciona entre por lo menos dos RAT, por ej., la primera y la segunda RAT, donde la primera y la segunda RAT están ambas coordinadas por un nodo de red en comunicación con el aparato inalámbrico, y donde un ancho de banda del sistema de la segunda RAT y un ancho de banda del sistema de la primera RAT están ambas comprendidas dentro de un tercer ancho de banda del sistema de una tercera RAT coordinada por el nodo de red.
