Abstract
El sistema incluye un modulo de interfaz (110) configurado para recibir una imagen (10) de una planta, en donde la imagen (10) incluye una representación visual (11) de al menos un elemento de la planta (1). Un modulo de normalización de color (120) está configurado para aplicar un método de constancia de color a la imagen recibida (10) para generar una imagen con color normalizado. Un módulo de extracción (130) está configurado para extraer una o más porciones de imagen (11e) de la imagen con color normalizado en donde las porciones de imagen extraídas (11e) corresponden a al menos un elemento de la planta (1). Un módulo de filtrado (140) configurado: para identificar uno o más agrupamientos (C1 a Cn) mediante una o más características visuales dentro de las porciones de imagen extraídas (11e) en donde cada agrupamiento está asociado a una porción del elemento de la planta que muestra características de una enfermedad de la planta; y para filtrar una o más regiones candidatas de uno o más de los agrupamientos identificados (C1 a Cn) de acuerdo con un umbral predefinido, usando un clasificador de Bayes que muestra estadísticas de las características visuales que están siempre presentes en una imagen de la planta enferma. Un módulo de diagnóstico de enfermedad de la planta (150) configurado para extraer, mediante un método de estadística inferencial, de cada región candidata (C4, C5, C6, Cn) una o más características visuales para determinar para cada región candidata una o más probabilidades que indican una enfermedad particular; y para computar una puntuación de confianza (CS1) para la enfermedad particular mediante la evaluación de todas las probabilidades determinadas de las regiones candidatas (C4, C5, C6, Cn).
