Abstract

Un método para producir hidrocarburos dentro de un yacimiento incluye (a) inyectar una solución acuosa en el yacimiento. La solución acuosa incluye agua y una especie química activada térmicamente. El agente químico activado térmicamente está activado térmicamente a una temperatura umbral menor que 200ºC o por encima de la misma. Además, el método incluye (b) activar térmicamente la especie química activada térmicamente en la solución acuosa durante o después de (a) a una temperatura igual o mayor que la temperatura umbral para producir dióxido de carbono y por lo menos uno de amoniaco, amina y alcanolamina dentro del yacimiento. Además, el método incluye (c) aumentar la capacidad para mojar del agua de la formación subterránea en respuesta a la activación térmica de (b). Más aún, el método incluye (d) la inyección del yacimiento con agua después de (a), (b) y (c).
