Abstract
Un método para el desencadenamiento de mediciones de movilidad para un dispositivo inalámbrico. El método es llevado a cabo por un nodo de red de acceso de radio (RANN). El RANN es configurable para transmitir por el uso de un conjunto de haces de transmisión. El método comprende la recepción de una señalización desde un dispositivo inalámbrico (WD). La señalización del tráfico de usuario es indicativa de una posición actual del WD y una métrica de calidad de rendimiento del WD. El método comprende, solo en un caso en que la métrica de calidad de rendimiento cumpla con un criterio de calidad de rendimiento dependiente de la ubicación, la activación de la transmisión de señales piloto de movilidad al WD en por lo menos un haz de transmisión en el conjunto de haces de transmisión. El método comprende, a partir de ese entonces, la instrucción al WD para que lleve a cabo mediciones sobre el por lo menos un haz de transmisión.
