Un proceso para llenar un depósito de sorción (50) con un gas (51), en donde al menos un medio adsorbente de gas (60) se dispone dentro de al menos un recipiente, que comprende una última etapa (26), en donde una última parte de una cantidad entera del gas (51) por llenar en el depósito de sorción (50) se alimenta en una tasa máxima de alimentación, dicha tasa de alimentación definida como una cantidad de gas (51) llenada en el depósito de sorción (50) por unidad de tiempo y en donde Ia última porción de Ia cantidad entera del gas (51) por llenar en el depósito de sorción (51) es Ia diferencia entre al menos el 20% y el 100%, en particular Ia diferencia entre al menos el 40% y el 100%, en peso de gas respecto del peso total de gas por almacenar.
