Abstract
Las realizaciones descritas incluyen un método, aparato y producto de programa informático para generar mallas informáticas híbridas alrededor de fracturas complejas y discretas con el propósito de simulación de un yacimiento. Por ejemplo, una realización es un método implementado por ordenador para modelar fracturas geológicas tridimensionales (3D). El método incluye los pasos de recibir un conjunto de fracturas con geometría que ha sido discretizada en un plano bidimensional mediante una colección de segmentos de línea.
