Abstract
Se proporcionan sistemas y métodos para crear mallas de depósito utilizando refinamiento adaptado a geometría y anisotrópico extendido de poliedros. En un ejemplo, un método incluye identificar con base en una especificación de depósito: un conjunto de fracturas que incluye fracturas que permiten 2,5 dimensiones (2,5D) y otras fracturas. El método incluye además generar un modelo de depósito intermedio que incluye una malla de extrusión que modela las fracturas que permiten 2,5 dimensiones en un espacio tridimensional (3D). En respuesta a determinar que las células en la malla deberían refinarse en una dirección dentro del espacio 3D, el método refine células anisotrópicamente en la malla que corresponde a las otras fracturas. El método incluye además resolver una red de fracturación dentro del modelo de depósito intermedio utilizando las células refinadas, y luego generar un modelo terrestre de depósito utilizando la red de fracturación.
