Abstract

Un fluido de tratamiento para tratar una porción de una formación subterránea que comprende un fluido de base, en donde el fluido de base comprende un hidrocarburo líquido, y un gelificante, en donde el gelificante es un polímero y se activa a una temperatura de activación, en donde la activación térmica del gelificante hace que el fluido de tratamiento se convierta en un gel. Un método de tratamiento de una porción de una formación subterránea incluye introducir el fluido de tratamiento dentro de la porción de la formación subterránea, en donde un pozo penetra la formación subterránea, en donde al menos una porción del pozo tiene una temperatura de fondo de pozo mayor o igual que la temperatura de activación y en donde el paso de introducir comprende introducir el fluido de tratamiento dentro de la porción del pozo.
