Abstract
Método de obtención de propágulos vegetales para el uso en micropropagación de la caña de azúcar. Se desarrolló un método de micropropagación que puede ser utilizado para la obtención de propágulos a ser utilizados para la producción de semillas sintéticas de caña de azúcar a escala comercial. Las semillas sintéticas producidas con los propágulos vegetales, resultado de la presente, pueden ser plantadas en invernaderos o estufas de cultivo o en el campo a pleno sol. Además, las semillas sintéticas producidas con los propágulos de la presente pueden ser almacenadas a temperatura controlada para su posterior distribución, así como pueden ser deshidratadas para facilitar la manipulación y la plantación directamente en el invernadero o en la estufa de cultivo o en el campo a pleno sol. La logística de distribución de estas semillas sintéticas se facilita debido a la reducción del volumen de material propagativo transportado.
