Abstract
Un método y aparato para secuestrar dióxido de carbono de un gas de desecho y para reutilizarlo como gas reciclado sin problemas de emisiones, incluyendo: dada una fuente de gas dividida en un gas de proceso y un gas de desecho: mezclar el gas del proceso con un hidrocarburo y alimentar un gas de alimentación resultante en un reformador para reformar el gas de alimentación y formar un gas de reducción; y alimentar por lo menos una porción del gas de desecho en un limpiador de dióxido de carbono para eliminar por lo menos parte del dióxido de carbono del gas de desecho y formar un gas limpio de dióxido de carbono que se mezcla con el gas reductor. En forma opcional, el método incluye, además, alimentar por lo menos una porción del gas de desecho en el limpiador dióxido de carbono para eliminar por lo menos parte del dióxido de carbono del gas de desecho y formar un gas combustible después de la incorporación de un hidrocarburo que se alimenta en el reformador. En forma opcional, la fuente de gas y el gas reductor se asocian con un proceso de reducción directa para convertir el óxido de hierro en hierro metálico en un horno de reducción que utiliza el gas reductor, en forma opcional después de cierta modificación, y produce la fuente de gas.
