Abstract
Control de una infestación de una plaga a través de la inhibición o reducción de la expresión de genes de la familia de la lacasa. Se provee además métodos y composiciones para el control de plagas, a través de la alimentación de una o más moléculas de ARN de doble hebra provista. Además un método de obtención de plantas transgénicas que expresan moléculas de ARN de doble hebra. Se utiliza preferentemente para plantas de algodonero. Ácido nucleico, gen quimérico, construcción genética, vector, células transformada y planta.
