Abstract
Un proceso y aparato mejorado para minimizar el desgaste de un catalizador de partículas de deshidrogenación, especialmente un catalizador de partículas de propano, impulsado en un flujo combinado de dichas partículas y un arrastre de gas en un medio de recuperación del catalizador durante la separación de dichas partículas de arrastre de gas, por el uso de un proceso previo de tratamiento en el cual el flujo combinado proporciona una tasa de entre 7,6 y 15,2 metros por segundo. Reivindicación 1: Un proceso mejorado para minimizar el desgaste del catalizador de partículas impulsadas en un flujo combinado de las mismas, y un arrastre de gas en un medio de separación del catalizador durante la separación de dichas partículas de arrastre de gas, que causa el proceso del flujo combinado en contacto con un medio separador de alta velocidad en un flujo de gas de 16,8 metros por segundo a 25,9 metros por segundo, y así se elimina menos del 99,8% del flujo combinado en el catalizador de partículas, cuya mejoría comprende: sujetar el flujo combinado con un eje de flujo de dirección para un proceso previo de tratamiento que precede el contacto del flujo combinado con el medio separador en la velocidad alta de flujo de gas de 16,8 metros por segundo a 25,9 metros por segundo, el proceso previo de tratamiento ocurre con una velocidad menor de flujo de gas dentro de un rango de 7,6 metros por segundo a 15,2 metros por segundo en combinación con un cambio direccional lejos del flujo de gas combinado, que cambia en por lo menos 90 grados desde el eje de dirección del flujo, y la combinación de velocidad y dirección del proceso previo de tratamiento causa la eliminación del flujo combinado mayor que el 80% del catalizador de partículas que son menores al 20% del catalizador de partículas en contacto con el medio separador de alta velocidad, el proceso mejorado proporciona una tasa de desgaste total calculada de acuerdo con la correlación: donde r es la tasa de desgaste (masa de desgaste del catalizador por hora por la masa de catalizador impactado por hora), K es una constante de tasa de desgaste del catalizador, u es la velocidad de impacto (metros por segundo), y m es una carga de radio de sólido a gas (masa de catalizador a masa de gas), que es al menos el 15% menor al desgaste total de la tasa de desgaste del catalizador sin el proceso previo de tratamiento.
