Abstract

La medición y control de la producción en forma automatizada puede lograrse mediante el uso de un separador bifásico vertical, donde el caudal de descarga del mismo se ajusta continuamente mediante el ajuste de la apertura de una válvula de control, determinada por el nivel de líquido dentro del separador. La automatización del método de control permite mediciones en tiempo real de las variables de proceso, así como la reducción de los tiempos de medición y funciona también como una capa de seguridad para un proceso de producción. El método de control es independiente de la producción del pozo y por lo tanto es adecuado para el control de pozos marginales.
