El dispositivo en cuestión es aplicado a una lata que comprende: una porción de cuerpo (11); una porción de cuello (13), que incorpora un resalto periférico externo (15) y que está unida a la porción de cuerpo (11) por una porción de transición (14); y una tapa (20) que lleva una nervadura periférica externa (25). Un anillo de retención (40) está apoyado sobre la nervadura periférica externa (25), envolviendo a esta última y estando trabado bajo el resalto periférico externo (15). Una cinta-sello (50), interrumpida por una ranura axial (FA), tiene un borde superior (50a) unido, por una región de unión adelgazada (50c), al anillo de retención (40). Uno de los extremos de la cinta-sello (50) incorpora un primer extremo (53a) de una proyección circunferencial (53) que está unido en la parte superior, por medios de ligadura que se pueden romper (52), al anillo de retención (40) y que tiene un extremo opuesto libre (53b), sobrepuesto al otro extremo de la cinta sello (50).
