Abstract

La presente tiene como objetivo proveer composiciones plastificantes que contengan como componente mayoritario el monoacetato de aceites vegetales exento de ftalato para uso en procesamiento de polímeros que contengan halógeno, preferentemente policloruro de vinilo para mejorar su procesabilidad. Una primera configuración de la presente se refiere a una composición plastificante incluyendo derivados de aceites vegetales, considerando que dichos derivados son productos de esterificación de aceites vegetales epoxidados, mayormente monoacetatos de aceites vegetales epoxidados. Una segunda configuración de la presente se refiere a un proceso de obtención de un plastificante que contenga como componente mayoritario el monoacetato de aceite vegetal epoxidado, considerando que dicho proceso contempla la reacción de aceite vegetal epoxidado, o mezcla de aceites vegetales epoxidados, con triacetato de glicerina, presentes en la masa reaccional en una razón molar en el rango de cerca de 2:1 a 4:1. En una tercera configuración, la presente se refiere al uso de la composición plastificante exenta de ftalato para la preparación de hilos, cables o calzados.The present objective is to provide plasticizer compositions containing as a major component the phthalate-free vegetable oil monoacetate for use in processing polymers containing halogen, preferably polyvinylchloride to improve its processability. A first configuration of the present refers to a plasticizing composition including derivatives of vegetable oils, considering that said derivatives are esterification products of epoxidized vegetable oils, mostly monoacetates of epoxidized vegetable oils. A second configuration of the present refers to a process of obtaining a plasticizer containing as a major component the epoxidized vegetable oil monoacetate, considering that said process contemplates the reaction of epoxidized vegetable oil, or mixture of epoxidized vegetable oils, with triacetate of Glycerin, present in the reaction mass in a molar ratio in the range of about 2: 1 to 4: 1. In a third configuration, this refers to the use of the phthalate-free plasticizer composition for the preparation of wires, cables or footwear.
