Abstract
Se describe un procedimiento para enfriar una corriente de uno o más componentes, particularmente una fracción rica en hidrocarburos, por medio de un intercambio indirecto de calor con la mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes de un circuito de mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes, siendo la mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes comprimida al menos en dos etapas y separada en una fracción de mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes, de menor punto de ebullición, comprimida a la presión final del circuito de mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes, y en al menos una fracción de mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes, de mayor punto de ebullición, comprimida a una presión intermedia. De acuerdo a la presente, la fracción de mayor punto de ebullición de la mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes es bombeada a la presión de la fracción de menor punto de ebullición de la mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes, y reunida con la fracción de menor punto de ebullición de la mezcla de fluidos refrigerantes por delante o inmediatamente al comienzo del intercambio indirecto de calor.
