Abstract

En un procedimiento para utilizar materiales orgánicos de desecho, particularmente materiales orgánicos de desecho húmedos que contienen celulosa, en un proceso de fabricación de clínker en el cual los materiales de desecho son alimentados y quemados como combustible en el proceso de fabricación de clínker, los materiales de desecho antes de ser alimentados al proceso de fabricación de clínker, son puestos en contacto y secados en una etapa de secado por flujo unidireccional con los gases calientes provenientes del proceso de fabricación de clínker. La etapa de secado es llevada a cabo en un reactor de secado, en el cual los materiales húmedos de desecho juntamente con los gases calientes de salida son conducidos bajo varias inversiones de la dirección de corriente en 180º a través de una serie de tubos dispuestos en forma concéntrica y la temperatura de los gases calientes de desecho son ajustados antes de la etapa de secado por mezclado de aire ambiente y/o aire proveniente del proceso de fabricación de clínker a un valor máximo de 400º.
